WHO IS THE SCOOTER?
The Scooter was named after Sparky, who raced a big tyre scooter when he was younger.

Fragrant and silky smooth, the 2022 Scooter charms your senses with a nose full of cherries and forest fruits. Fresh plum and sweet berries delight on your first sip, before giving way to spices reminiscent of nutmeg and cinnamon. Finely poised and balanced, the 2022 Scooter’s delicate tannins make this Merlot an absolute treat.
TECHNICAL NOTES:
The grapes were grown on the Long Gully Road vineyard in McLaren Vale. Barrel fermented and matured in 97% American and 3% French oak, using 25% new, 45% one year old and 30% two year old barrels. The required Marquis Fruit Weight™ for the Lefty Series is 65% – 75%. The Actual Fruit Weight for 2021 The Scooter is 66%.

The taste journey continues with hints of licorice and blackberry jam, creating a joyful experience that celebrates the blend’s diverse elements.
