TASTING NOTES:
Dark in colour, deep in flavour and rich in texture; the Velvet Glove is our ultimate expression of Fruit Weight™. Black plum, blueberries and roasted coffee intermingle with anise in its lifted fragrance. A supremely smooth mouth-feel like molten chocolate accentuates the precise balance of structure whilst liquorice and allspice linger on the palate. Indulge yourself with this outstanding example of a perfectly balanced McLaren Vale Shiraz.
TECHNICAL NOTES:
The grapes were grown on the Gateway vineyard in McLaren Vale. Barrel fermented and matured in 100% American oak, using 100% new barrels. The required Marquis Fruit Weight™ for the Velvet Glove is 95%+. The Actual Fruit Weight for 2021 Velvet Glove is 96%.
