WHAT IS THE MARQUISE?
(n.) A woman who holds a high social rank in her own right.
For our first ever small batch wine, it only made sense to honour Robert Parker and the profound impact he had on the early years of Mollydooker. Inspired by Parkers love of Syrah from the Rhône Valley, we fermented and aged four barrels of our ultra premium Shiraz grapes in French oak for 11 months, creating a style we have never released before.
The result. A remarkable wine that will delight you with its subtle nuances and understated complexity.
TASTING NOTES
The Marquise 2024 Shiraz opens with a vibrant bouquet of dark blackberry and plum, lifted by hints of vanilla cream and butterscotch. The palate is rich yet beautifully balanced, revealing layers of chocolate, coffee and gentle spice intertwined with delicate floral undertones. Supple French oak tannins provide structure, leading to a smooth, lingering finish – a wine of elegance and refined complexity.

The Violinist is Sarah, a lefty who was made to play the violin with her right hand at school so she didn’t poke her neighbour in the eye with her bow.TASTING NOTES:
Rich, textured and opulent, the 2025 Violinist is intense and full of character. Pineapple and lychee aromatics combine with vanilla to create a creamy, seamless mouthfeel. Lemon and lime underpin bursts of pineapple, nectarine and peach, whilst toasty coconut and the faintest touch of honeysuckle linger on the palate. Bold yet balanced, the Violinist offers many layers of enjoyment. -

The Scooter was named after Sparky, who raced a big tyre scooter when he was younger.

The 2023 Scooter is fragrant and silky smooth, enticing with a nose full of cherries and forest fruits. The first sip reveals fresh plum and sweet berries, followed by a gentle hint of nutmeg and cinnamon spice. Finely balanced with delicate tannins, the 2023 Scooter offers a refined complexity that makes this Merlot a true pleasure to enjoy.

WHO IS THE MAITRE D’?
The Maitre D’ was named after Sparky, who put himself through winemaking college as a left handed waiter.
