TASTING NOTES:

The 2023 Enchanted Path is a masterful blend of Shiraz and Cabernet, two quintessential Australian varieties that harmonize beautifully. This vintage bursts with wild berries and fresh plum, offering an inviting nose accented by hints of cinnamon, dark chocolate, and subtle touches of pomegranate, cherry, and anise. On the palate, a symphony of flavours unfolds, revealing liquorice, mocha, blackberry, and plum, all complemented by delicate notes of vanilla. Fine, expansive tannins create a smooth mouthfeel, carrying the wine’s complex layers and evolving into a long, captivating finish.

The wine that wraps your entire palate in a ‘Velvet Glove’ of amazing fruit flavours that seem to last forever.

TASTING NOTES:

Dense, dark and brooding in the glass, the 2020 Velvet Glove Shiraz is complex and sumptuous. Black plum, blueberries and roasted coffee intermingle with anise in its lifted fragrance. A supremely smooth molten chocolate mouthfeel accentuates the precise balance of infinitely complex structure, expressing deep flavours of berries, whilst liquorice and allspice linger on the palate. 2020 has produced a Velvet Glove of incredible eminence and elegance that is truly the pinnacle of Mollydooker Wines.
